About Celia

Celia Smith, born Celia Munoz Bueno, is a graduate of the University of Madrid, Spain, her country of origin, and has been a resident of the US for many years.

She sketches from nature and people, and composes paintings that tell stories, or impart feelings or ideas. Other works are landscapes that capture the essence of a place, while others are simply fun and whimsical.

While some of her work is done on commission, Celia is an active participant in juried shows and art fairs, from which she has received numerous awards and cash prizes.
